What We Take On
Six trades, quoted as one scope. Each line below is a standalone job or a part of a larger one — the difference is in the quote, not in the responsibility.
Kitchen Renovation
Full refits and partial work: cabinet supply and fit or refit, worktops, splashbacks, sink and appliance changes, flooring, and the plumbing and electrics those need. We measure against the room rather than a standard kitchen size, so awkward walls get quoted for what they actually require.
Plastering and painting to the newly exposed walls are normally in the same scope — leaving them out is what makes a kitchen feel unfinished.
Bathroom Renovation
Full rebuilds and smaller upgrades: removal, waterproofing, tiling, plumbing, sanitaryware, ventilation and lighting. Waterproofing is a sequence, not a coat of paint, and it is quoted as a system.
Where a bathroom sits above another room or next to a bedroom, we price the acoustic and access implications at quote stage rather than after the floor is open.
Flooring Installation
Timber, laminate, vinyl and tile, fitted to the room. Preparation is quoted explicitly — a subfloor that needs levelling is the single most common line that appears after a first look at a room.
We tell you where the floor cannot realistically be laid to the same standard through a doorway or a tight turn, and what the options are.
Wall & Ceiling Finishing
Boarding, skimming, float and set, and patching after first fix or after plumbing and electrical work has opened the wall. Also the making good around new openings, door linings and window reveals.
Painting & Decorating
Preparation, cutting-in and two coats minimum, with mist coat on new plaster. We schedule decoration after the wet trades so nothing is painted over damp.
Plastering
Skimming for a decoration-ready surface, or full re-plastering where plaster has been taken back to blockwork. Both need the right background treatment, which is quoted with the plaster rather than assumed.

Not Sure Which Of These You Need?
Describe the room and what is wrong with it. We will tell you what the job actually involves before you commit to quoting it.
